Luca Cesa

 

The rising star of international dance. Italian interpreter for the "Prix de Lausanne" international competition for young people dancers.

 

Despite his international commitments, he is a guest teacher in many Italian and non-Italian dance schools. A career full of satisfactions for Luca despite his very young age.

He began his classical and contemporary preparation at the age of 10 at the "Centro Dance Body Line" directed by Giusy Criscitiello. In 2010, at age 17, in Rome he won the prize for best interpreter and it was there that same year Cristina Bozzolini Director of the "Aterballetto and the" Ballet of Tuscany "offers him a scholarship to enter in the high school in Florence.

 

In 2011, given her praiseworthy abilities, the Director invited him to be part of the company itself, then becoming a classical dance assistant of M.Eugenio Scigliano for the high school courses Del Balletto di Toscana ".
 

He immediately takes part in the dance corps and the repertoire productions. Shortly thereafter he was immediately noticed by the choreographer Fabrizio Monteverde who chooses him for "La Boule de Neige" in the role of Gerard thus becoming a soloist. In subsequent years
plays the best roles, like Albrecht in "Giselle" by E.Scigliano, Paride in "Romeo e Giulietta" by Davide Bombana and finds himself working with the best choreographers of the moment.

 

He is invited to numerous festivals and since 2014 he collaborates with
the "Dance Cyprus" company as a guest dancer.

 

Since 2016 he has been a dancer of "Ballet Preljocaj", one of the most important contemporary dance companies in the world.
During his training as a dancer he feels the desire to develop his choreographic skills and here he is a work as a young choreographer is commissioned in Vienna where he creates "Sturm und Drang" a step up two music by Chopin for Europe Ballet where he gets the best criticism.
