Our History
A history of Passion, Work, and Perseverance since 2005
Passion - In 2005, Anderson Santana created the Brussels International Ballet School in Brussels. The School welcomed and trained young dancers aged 4-15 through different sections: Eveil, Etudes, and Supérieur.
Anderson Santana first wanted to prove to himself his ability to teach and to coach young future dancers. In view of the excellent results obtained in a few years, it became clear to him that the creation of a superior dance section was essential. Thus, the Professional Training Program.
Anderson Santana, surrounded by a growing artistic team, has always had the goal and vocation to teach Dance with the greatest respect for tradition, as he himself had the chance to discover
In several years, the School grew and now offers a large program of Professional Superior Dance Education, Academic Training Program, and Etudes.
Be passionate

Work - Over the years, young talents have expressed the need to move towards semi-professional or vocational education, which has involved another dimension.
Courses have been developed to meet these needs and after much reflection, a new structure was conducted to move towards a direction that allows us to provide a framework adapted to the highest level of dance.
The idea was thus born to transform the Academic School by adding a section of professional higher education to accompany its development towards a present international demand.
In 2012, Anderson Santana decided to transfer his school to a new infrastructure, which then benefited from 3 big dance studios, located near the European Commission in Brussels. The School was inaugurated in the presence of several personalities including Benoit Cerexhe, the Bourgmestre of Woluwé-Saint-Pierre, who became and remains an important support for the School.
Thanks to the excellent location of the studios, Anderson Santana was also able to negotiate a partnership with a boarding school to allow international professional students to be comfortably housed during the Summer Intensive programs.
Brussels International Ballet School (BIBS) has been recognized for its professionalism, and since then has evolved from a school to a professional Ballet School, praised for its student results at International Competitions (YAGP, New York, Moscow, Varna, Helsinki.)
Inspire
Perseverance - In 2013, Anderson Santana started a professional section to give young dancers (Belgian and international students) the opportunity to develop their potential and successfully integrate into famous international dance companies such as: Monaco, Bolshoi, Bulgaria, Saint Petersburg (insert link to Graduates.
He is very dedicated, has a lot of respect for the dancers, and overall, has a vision that continually sets the basis for a continuous improvement of the dance discipline.
