Brussels International Ballet is excited to present the 12th edition of its Summer Intensive Program in Brussels, Belgium. The Summer Intensive provides a renowned program for students aged 12 to 17, where a background in classical ballet is advisable. Additionally, we are introducing a NEW PROGRAM designed expressly for pre-professionals and professionals between 18 and 24 years old. Participants in the BIB Summer Intensive will benefit from classes that employ the Vaganova methodology. Attendance for the full two-week program is required.
For more than ten years, this intensive program has gained recognition as a premier European destination for ballet enthusiasts, attracting over 700 gifted students from Europe, the United States, Japan, Latin America, Canada, and Australia. It fosters a distinctive and motivational environment where enduring friendships are made, and students achieve remarkable technical advancements by the end of the course. The Summer Intensive has evolved into a yearly event where numerous enthusiastic and skilled students not only come to train but also to interact with international guest ballet artists and audition for a spot in the comprehensive Professional Intensive Training program.

The Summer Intensive is also the place to meet representatives of prestigious ballet institutions offering unique chance to connect with remarkable individuals and advance professionally. Our intensive courses also act as auditions, providing students with the opportunity to audition to Professional Intensive Program to pursue their career goals.
Groups
Intermediate: Students aged 12-14 years old as of 30 July 2025 -
This program allows students to enjoy an intensive period of World-class ballet during two intensive weeks. It provides students the opportunity to understand and improve their skills and gain strength. It is designed to give them a deeper understanding of Classical Ballet and repertoire and to explore their passion for dance with international students in a kindly and inspiring environment.
This year, the intermediate level is open for young dancers from the age of 12 to give them the chance to take intensive courses for two weeks. Accommodation in the dorms is highly recommended to experience a total immersion in the world of dance.
Semi-Advanced: students aged 15-17 years as of 30 July 2025
This program is aimed at students aged 15 to 17 who already have a good level in Ballet Classique and who want to improve their skills.
CLASS SCHEDULES
The final timetable will be announced on the first day of the Summer Program. Courses are from Monday to Saturday included.

REGISTRATION
To register for the Summer Ballet IntensiveProgram, all candidates must download the Application form below. You must fill it out and upload it with the required photos and pay the administration fee. Please see the required photos in this PDF.
Only completed, signed, and submitted registration forms with all required photos will be considered.
Any incomplete form will be rejected and will not be proceeded..
Be sure to upload your ID picture (HEADSHOT) to the application form. (Recommended format is 35 mm x45 mm).
Administration fee:
An administrative fee of EUR 30 is payable during the submission process. When the Submit button is clicked, a payment window pops up. Upon successful payment, your registration is complete.
Once accepted, you will receive the acceptance letter and will be required to pay the amount according to your registration. All information is provided through 3 personalized newsletters. These newsletters include updates, important announcements, and insights, ensuring that everyone stays informed and engaged.
If you encounter technical issues with the online application platform, please follow the instructions outlined below the online registration window. After paying the administration fee, email the completed application pdf to summer@brusselsintballet.org .
Dress code for the pictures:
Girls - Any colour leotard, salmon tights and shoes, hair bun. No skirts, no warm-ups.
Boys - t-shirt (black or white); tights (black or white); ballet shoes (black or white), no warm-ups. Photos with “barefoot” will be rejected.
The selection of accepted applicants is at the sole discretion of the artistic director and the artistic team. The reasons for not being accepted to the Summer intensive Program will not be disclosed.
Applicants older than 15 can also send a link or video of a classic solo variation as an alternative.
Once we have received your material, we will evaluate your registration and the results will be sent via email.
For students who wish to register for the Professional Training Program season 2025/2026, they will have the opportunity to audition at the very end of the Summer Program. We strongly recommend you read all the information about PTP before applying for this year-round program.
Accommodation Dormitory
Brussels International Ballet School offers a boarding option, located 300 metres from the school (Internat Don Bosco) Attention! If you have any questions concerning the dormitory, please contact Brussels International Ballet only summer@brusselsintballet.org
ARRIVALS/DEPARTURE
Arrivals: Students opting for the Dormitory option should arrive for check-in at the dormitory on Sunday 14 July from 12:00 pm. Dorms will be open ONLY from 12:00 pm. Book your flight based on this check-in time. Students are not allowed before 12:00 pm
Departure: Students must leave the dorm by 11:00 the latest on Sunday 03 August .The dorm's doors will be closed from 11:00 onwards on Sunday 3th of August. Book your return flight reservation based on this check-out time: Sunday 03 August 11:00 A.M.
It is recommended and is your responsibility to book your flights in accordance with the dormitory schedules. Early arrivals or late departures will not be accommodated by the organizers.

Brussels International Ballet provides a dormitory-style to all accepted Summer Intensive students, conveniently located near the School. Accepted students can reserve housing upon their enrollment . Detailed information, including an extensive Housing Handbook, is sent to all students who reserve housing.

BIB - Summer Intensive provides chaperones to supervise and live with the students throughout their participation in the Intensive. The chaperones are internal staff members .

BIB - Summer Program offer you our airport pick-up service tailored specifically for young students travelling alone. Our specialized airport pick-up service is designed with students in mind, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition from the airport to dorms.

Personalized Assistance: Upon arrival, our staff members will be waiting for you at the airport arrival gate at pick-up point holding a sign with your name on it. You won't have to worry about navigating the bustling airport on your own – we'll be there to guide you every step of the way. You will receive before all details of your staff driver .

Safe and Reliable Transport: We prioritize your safety and comfort. Our fleet of vehicles is well-maintained and driven by experienced and professional drivers. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a comfortable ride to your dorm. Parents are informed as soon as the student has been picked-up.

Convenient Scheduling: We understand that travel plans can change, which is why we have a schedule with different options. Simply provide us with your flight details, and we'll make sure to arrange a pick-up time that aligns with your arrival schedule. In case of delay of your flight , our staff driver will be always informed .
Housing for parents:
Parents are not allowed to stay at the dormitory, and it is not allowed to pick up students during the two-week program. Should you wish to plan a program with your child during the Summer Program, the days for this can be Saturday 20 th, and Sunday 21 th of July and Saturday 27/ Sunday 28 (for both internal and external students). Students must be back at the dorms before 8 pm.
An excursion is planned and is mandatory for residential students on Sunday 28th July. Details are provided
at boarding .
